I Will Deal, God Will Heal

I have been on both sides of the emotional roller coaster called life, and I have survived. I have marveled at the birth of three children, and watched them grow to adulthood. I have watched my mother slip away from cancer, and pass away. The world calls what you feel, emotions and feelings. These are mere words compared to the actual impact of depression and grief. Just as happiness and joy don't quite describe your child's first steps, or first words.
Sometimes, it's hard to describe our feelings. We are worried, concerned, fearful, anxious, and feel uncomfortable in our own skin. These are the times we need to focus our dedications on what needs to be done; deal, and when all is in place, God will heal. If our Faith is based on a true foundation, and we are dealing in the truth, we will be rewarded for our efforts. It may not be in the way we planned, but we will eventually see that it was in our best interest.
There are always going to be those who try to bring us down, it's the way of the World. I had a boss for seven years that argued with me every day. I was making good money, and couldn't afford to lose a good job due to a difference in personalities. So, I had to deal, and the anxiety of having to live every day like that, God healed.
I have had physical problems that left me weak and very ill. My mind and body had been stressed to the maximum, and now, it was fighting itself, and I was going down for the count. I was suffering from depression, and an emptiness I couldn't reach. I decided it was time to sink or swim, and I chose to swim. I recovered, only to be back in the same situation a few years later, and I recovered again. I had to deal, and God healed.
As long as I do my part, I can count on His guidance and love to get me through. Honesty, integrity, responsibility, and determination all need to be in place. A desire to fight for what's right, and a motivation to make life better, should push us forward. This, along with the knowledge that God knows best, and we need to accept His answers to our prayers, makes for a calmer and more peaceful existence.
People and situations are just that, but our soul is what we need to protect to get us to the end in tact. We may lose a job or get relocated from our home, but these are things. Our soul comes with us. Our love for nature can survive in any climate. Our children are who they are, no matter where we may go. Life is bigger than things. Relationships are more important than location.
The way we conduct ourselves is our legacy. It isn't always easy doing the right things, but our sense of ourselves is heightened when we do. This gives us the strength we need to proceed, and move on. Nothing in life is fair, we learned that when we were infants and wanted more than what was in our bottle. We felt it when we got in trouble for cheating, and it was really the boy sitting next to us. Our job is to deal, God will heal.
He knows all, sees all, hears all. Who thinks they're bigger and more powerful than God? Who thinks they know more? Who forgets that He, in fact, is in charge, and will make the final decisions? Life is full of situations and circumstances that make us stop and adjust and learn. They might be hard lessons, and they may be hard answers, but when you have people in your life to love, and who love you, nothing is impossible. Our job is to deal, God will heal.
