I have enjoyed reading Camille Strate's articles for quite a while now. They are upbeat and funny and spiritual through nature, and I like that. She has written a book, short and sweet, on the whispers we hear if we allow them to come in. It takes peace of mind, but it can be done.

Camille explores the different times and places she heard her whispers, her guiding forces. They are always ready to set the record straight, and to help us reclaim our hope and altruism and love of nature. There are beautiful, delicate pictures, and it is a book you can read quickly if you'd like, as in the tub while relaxing. These pages are filled with a happiness in the material that transcends to the reader.

I, personally, will have mine on my coffee table or by my bed, and whenever I need a pick me up, I can read this warming collection of whispers. It is written with wonderful insight as well as humor, It's not an article or a story, it's a collection of encounters that helped make her life more comfortable and more at peace. Encounters that you will want to go back and read again.

I think we can all pick up something positive from reading this book, and supporting our fellow warpie. Some may not believe there can be whispers, and that's fine. What Camille does with what she hears, and how she applies it to her life to keep getting stronger and better, is what this book is about. The principles can be applied and understood by all.

You may contact Camille through her email to order your own Whispers.

I recommend it highly.

Susan Thom is the mother of three children, two sons, 20 and 23, and a daughter 25. Her older son is in the air force in Germany right now, and her daughter is in the army in Tacoma, Washington.

Writing calms her, and gives her a place to go by herself! Clears the head and gets it out. She lives in a rural area, with a lake and mountains, and her partner, and has loved writing since she was a child.

She has been on a journey of self discovery for twenty years, and has learned many things about the human mind, and how to maintain some semblance of calm and peace within.

If someone reads one of her stories, and relates to her feelings, and gets a suggestion on how she dealt with them in a positive way, that would be the ultimate gift of her writing.
