What Choices Will I Have In The New Year

There are things I have accomplished that I have always dreamed to, but never knew if or when they would happen. Having children was always my most constant and deep seated dream. Thankfully, I have been blessed with three. My first child, my daughter, is in the army. Scares me to death. My son is coming home from the air force with his wife. My youngest is dealing with the world of oz we’ve created, and trying to make sense of it.
There’s no changing the fact that with each new year, we get closer to the end of our time on Earth. Some stutter to think of it, but it’s still the truth. So with each new year, should we not be more aware of the way we think, and behave? Is there anything we could do differently that could make us and the people around us, happier? Might we work on our patience, and impress ourselves and others on the way we’ve calmed down?
If we rarely go outside, are we going to make more of an effort to take walks, or sit on our swing and enjoy the crisp air and the beauty of nature? We may not feel like it, but once we venture out, we’ll feel elated when we return inside. If we write, this would be a perfect time, with so many positive things in our minds. Creativity will have gotten a boost.
We might want to take on a hobby. Something to take up some of our time, but may be functional at the same time. Maybe we could go to a class, or take a course at a nearby college. We could volunteer and help those who really have no one else. There are so many things we could do if we wanted to, and next year, I hope to be satisfied with whatever I do until then.

I like the approach you took. The questioning method is much closer to the reality of life, our hearts and minds. This article made me feel good, and the pressure of these resolution articles do seem to demand too much sometimes. Thanks for your wonderful offering. Please log in to respond to this comment.hi c,
